Many choose the Hawthorne as a base for day-trips; to explore Boston, Cambridge, Old Sturbridge Village, Salem, Plymouth Plantation, Lowell Textile Museum, Ocean Beaches and the many nearby College Campuses. Travelers often utilize the convenience of the commuter train to Boston and Cambridge. In the evening relax and inhale the sweet aroma of our gardens or sit by a crackling fire to reflect upon the day’s adventures.
